Military Support
The freedom, security, and prosperity that we enjoy in the United States was obtained and is protected and preserved by all the members of our military services. The IKO Foundation appreciates all service personnel past and present and thanks them and their families for their service and sacrifice.
We support them by providing scholarship assistance to veterans, their spouses and their children. We also support organizations that provide assistance and care for wounded personnel and their families.
Grant Recipients
Hero Dogs
Hero Dogs trains and places service dogs with military veterans who have been injured or disabled while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Homes For Our Troops
Homes for Our Troops builds houses for severely wounded service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
P2V
P2V (Pets2Vets) pairs veterans with homeless pets by arranging adoptions of shelter animals.
Anne Arundel Community College Foundation
Half of the scholarships provided to the AACCF by the IKO Foundation are reserved for miltary personnel, veterans and their families.
Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation
The Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation provides scholarship assistance to the children of fallen service and law enforcement personnel.
Operation Happy Note
Operation Happy Note sends musical instruments to deployed service men and women throughout the world. Their website has dozens of great pictures.
Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund
The Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund awards college scholarships to the sons and daughters of service personnel killed or disabled in the line of duty.
